According to reports, U.S. intelligence has led to Thai police seizing an airplane suspected of smuggling North Korean weapons.
The Russian-made, Georgian-registered cargo plane made an emergency landing to refuel in Bangkok on Friday. That's when the Thai police searched it and found some 35 tons of missiles, rockets and grenades.
The crew of five men from Kazakhstan and Belarus are now under arrest. It is not clear what the plane's final destination was.
