Luis Pena Soltren pleaded guilty Thursday (3/18) to his role in the 1968 hijacking of Pan AM flight 281, which was bound from New York to Puerto Rico, but instead was flown to Havana. Pena Soltren, who spent 41 years hiding in Cuba before surrendering last October to U.S. authorities, admitted to threatening a flight attendant with a knife during the hijacking.
