May 17, 2010 — A United Airlines Boeing 757 en route from JFK Airport to Los Angeles diverted to Washington's Dulles Airport on Sunday. The FAA confirmed to the Washington Post that the cause of the unscheduled stop was a "small fire" in the cockpit of the aircraft.
