Worst US Airport

00:52

A Week at the Airport
Operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, LaGuardia Airport has been active since the late 1930s and lies eight miles away from Manhattan. The hub voted the worst US airport covers a 680 acre site and features a pair of main runways and four passenger terminals. The runways are each 7,000 feet in length and 150 in width, and a variety of airlines operate off them on mainly domestic routes. 2009 LaGuardia Airport passenger handling figures reached over 22 million, while 6,712 tons of air cargo passed through and just over 354,000 aircraft movements occurred.
