The US air travel sites were rated in terms of overall quality and while Portland was judged the best US airport„ the remainder of the top five was made up of Tampa International Airport, Salt Lake City International Airport, Detroit Wayne County International Airport and Denver International Airport. Each airport was given a score out of 30 and, for LaGuardia, this was 6.2, while Portland International received 22.5. Geography seemed to play a part in the results to some degree, with airports in western US states generally doing better than those in the east.
As far as passenger airlines were concerned, JetBlue, Continental Airlines and Singapore Airlines topped the domestic economy, domestic premium and international economy/premium leaderboards, respectively.
