Job Description
This exciting and challenging role requires an enthusiastic, highly motivated and truly professional individual to join our team at the 5 Star Balmoral Hotel. The main purpose of this role is to lead the Housekeeping Department including the planning, organisation and supervision of cleaning and maintenance throughout the hotel and ensuring the highest standards of guest care and service whilst achieving budgetary requirements. Cleanliness and Guest care are your focus, along with ensuring our rigorous Leading Quality Assurance Standards are met. You will make a daily patrol of all the hotel, including spot-checking occupied rooms, check out rooms and VIP and long stay rooms for required standards. You will have management responsibilities including regularly monitoring staff performance including carrying out bi-annual formal reviews and to communicate positively with staff, colleagues, other Head of Department'S and Executive Team Memberes. You will also be responsible for monitoring Public Area’s and night cleaning. Attention to detail, training skills and a focus on customer care is essential, and all applicants be able to clearly demonstrate previous experience from a luxury background. Applicants must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
