Japan OKs Use of Body Scanners

High-Stakes Aviation: U.S.-Japan Technology Linkages in Transport Aircraft
Dec 9, 2010 — Japan's transport ministry has given the green light for airlines to deploy body scanner technology at the nation's airports for use in secondary screening of passengers. However, The Mainichi Daily News reports that the country's two main airlines, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways, have not decided on any plans for installing the systems.
